How an FFL Transfer Works

1. Buy online. Purchase your firearm from a licensed online retailer (Guns.com, Brownells, Palmetto State Armory).
2. Choose this FFL. At checkout, enter this FFL's information as your transfer dealer.
3. Firearm ships. The seller ships the firearm to SOUTH'S OUTPOST ELITE GUNS AND OUTDOOR in SPANISH FORT, AL.
4. Complete ATF Form 4473. Visit the FFL, fill out the ATF 4473, and pass the NICS background check.
5. Pay the transfer fee. The transfer fee is paid at pickup.
6. Take possession. Once NICS clears, you take your firearm home.
