💬 Respect & Conduct

• Be respectful. Treat every member the way you want to be treated. No harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
• No hate speech. Discriminatory or abusive content is not tolerated.
• Keep it civil. Disagreements are fine; personal insults are not. Debate the item, not the person.
• Respect privacy. Do not post others' personal information without their consent.

💰 Buying & Selling

• Be honest. Describe items accurately. Disclose condition, wear, and any defects.
• List a real price. No bait-and-switch. The price you list is the price you honor.
• No scams. Do not ask for upfront payments outside a legitimate method, or attempt fraud of any kind.
• Honor commitments. If you agree to a deal, follow through or communicate promptly.
• Leave honest feedback. Your trade feedback helps keep the community trustworthy.

🛡 Firearms & Compliance

• Know the law. All firearm sales and transfers must comply with federal, state, and local law, including Alabama law.
• FFL transfers. Private firearm transfers should be conducted through a licensed FFL where required. Buyers and sellers are responsible for lawful transfer.
• Alabama residency. Paid tiers and purchases are limited to users with an Alabama connection. You attest to this at signup.
• No straw purchases. Never buy a firearm for someone who is prohibited from owning one.
• No prohibited sales. Do not offer or facilitate the sale of items to persons legally prohibited from possessing them.
• Bill of sale. When required, provide a bill of sale. Mark listings that require one.

📝 Posting Guidelines

• Use the right category. Post listings and topics in the correct forum so everyone can find them.
• No spam. Do not post the same item repeatedly, off-topic content, or affiliate spam.
• Accurate listings. Include clear photos, a price, and an honest description. No placeholder or misleading titles.
• One listing per item. Don't create duplicate listings for the same item.
• Mark sold items. Update your listing when an item sells so buyers aren't left guessing.

⚠️ Enforcement

• Warnings first. Minor violations get a warning and a chance to correct.
• Escalation. Repeated or serious violations may lead to temporary or permanent suspension.
• Serious violations. Illegal activity (including unlawful firearm transactions) results in immediate removal and may be reported to authorities.
• Moderator discretion. Staff may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards.
